“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drowned your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
Do you know what you’re going to do after graduation? Do you have plans to go to college? Have you applied to colleges? Are you happy with you SAT scores? Are you planning on getting a part time job?
By this time of year students know what they’re going to do after high school or when they graduate. My plans are simple. I will attend college at IUSB earn my bachelors degree on social worker. I would also like to attend beauty school. I’m not interested in social worker as much as i am to going into beauty school.
Becoming was always a big thing. Since middle school I had that Idea of becoming a cosmetologists after school. Then I found out that you could go in cosmetology in Elkhart but your social security number was needed so I couldn’t sign up for that. At my sophomore year my plans were ruined I had to find something that I would enjoy doing.
The next year I was an aid in the from office where i answered phone calls. in that time Mrs. Martin was the principles secretary. I really enjoyed the things she did at the office. She knew what she was doing and did right almost every time. Until i asked her what she majored in and she said social working and since that day I was into social working. I thought to myself. Working with kids wouldn’t be bad. I don’t want to be a teacher either and being a social worker helps out other people if it’s not at schools than its in other offices.
